Works locally / preview, will not deploy
Preview is not production. The usual blockers are env vars that exist in one place, a Node version the host does not have, or code that assumes the builder's filesystem. We get you to a deploy you can run again.
What to do
- Line up env vars between preview and production
- Fix build and SSR or edge assumptions
- Pin the runtime and write the deploy steps down
- Add a small smoke check after deploy
- Keep demo data off the live database
If preview is fine and production is not, the diagnostic is often a short fixed scope.
